Having stood on Honiton High Street since they opened in 1992, Bradleys Estate Agents is a trusted and well-connected local business.

As part of their commitment to the community they are now proud sponsors of the Nub News property section for Honiton.

This exciting partnership will bring you desirable properties in and around the town, plus news and features relating to the local property market and how it might affect residents here in Honiton.

The team at Honiton Bradleys all live locally and care a lot about the community they serve.

One longstanding member, Lisa Rayner, has been in the role since 1998. She told us "she's seen a lot change in the town over the years" as her desk looks out onto the High Street.

Manager Joe Keep said: "We are really pleased to be supporting local news provision in Honiton, as the connections we have to the community are extremely important to us.

"Nub News reflects our own ethos of putting the local community at the heart of what we do and we believe this partnership will be beneficial to people in the town."

When asked what he loves about the job and working in Honiton, he explained: "It's my hometown, I love the people and it's always great to get people moved, whether it's their first home or their forever home.

"Having been made redundant from my previous job, it gave me the opportunity to look at new avenues. I've always enjoyed property and had an interest from a young age. That mixed with my background in sales, it seemed to be a sensible avenue to look at."

Discussing the impact of coronavirus on the business, he said: "It's been a rollercoaster. There were a lot of unknowns with the first lockdown, and I'm sure some of the other agents were readying themselves to close having had limited market activity.

"However, the way our marketing has adapted online, becoming more virtual has allowed us to reach out to a much wider pool of buyers.

"The last nine months have been incredible, and with the instructions we have coming up I'd like to think this will continue moving forward."

Speaking on the partnership, Nub News chief executive Karl Hancock said: "Estate agents are such an integral part of any community so it's great to have Bradleys on board as the property sponsor for Honiton.

"I look forward to reading Property of the Week features and regular articles on the local market."
