Update: A35 reopens between Honiton and Axminster after three-vehicle crash

Update 4.59pm: A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on the A35 near Axminster at around 12.10pm today (6 December).

"One man was reported to have a possible injury which was not being treated as life threatening or changing.

"The road was cleared at around 4pm."


Update 4.44pm: All lanes have reopened, but expect delays.


Original story 1.55pm: The A35 between Axminster and Honiton is now closed following a multi-vehicle crash.

The road is closed both ways.

According to the AA, the incident was first reported at 12.20pm today (Monday 6 December).

An AA traffic alert read: "Road closed and queueing traffic due to [collision] ... on A35 both ways from A358 Musbury Road to Old Taunton Road. Affecting traffic between Axminster and Honiton."
