BREAKING: Police search for burglary suspects fleeing Honiton

A police helicopter is currently circling Honiton town centre searching for two men who police believe are trying to escape the area following a burglary.

Police have already detained one man and are searching for two more who have 'made off' in Honiton this morning following the alleged burglary in Pine Park Road.

According to the police the alleged burglary was reported to them at around 9.34am.

Devon and Cornwall Police have issued descriptions of the two men they are looking to detain.

The first man is described as wearing a brown top and khaki trousers and is believed to have a small goatee beard.

The second man is said to be in his early twenties with dark hair and an athletic build. He is believed to be wearing a fleece top and dark shorts.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News: "If members of the public see men matching the above descriptions or have any information on the incident please could they ring 999 quoting log number 347 of August 15."
