Honiton is lucky to have a thriving high street, boasting a fine selection of independent businesses. Among them is Devon Photography Training, run by camera and photography expert, Gemma Varney - who occupies a space in the Kate Dixon Photography shop.

Gemma told Honiton Nub News: "I've been running Devon Photography Training since 2012 and have worked and lived across Devon.

"I've now settled in Honiton, having moved here in June, as this is where my family are."

Gemma has teamed up Kate Dixon Photography on various projects and they provide support for each other's businesses.

"I specialise in teaching people how to use their camera properly, off auto settings, and also do commercial photography for businesses. I can show people how to set up a studio and take professional portraits," she added.

"I recently did some tuition for the Donkey Sanctuary and took some marketing shots for the newly opened Heron Farm."

Gemma also takes professional photos of pets and children and offers gift vouchers.

Why not get in touch with Gemma to see how she can help you with your photographic needs? Check out the Devon Photography Training website for details.
