Honiton Carers Support Group celebrated Carers Week on Tuesday 8 June at The kitchen at Combe Garden Centre.

The group enjoyed scrumptious cakes and drinks as a treat for the unpaid carers and their loved ones.

The free raffle for a delicious bottle of pink sparkling wine as a special thank you gift to the carers who attended was won by Jackie Crook, a long standing carer.

Chair of Honiton Carers, Winnie Cameron said: "A wonderful time was had by everyone.

"Honiton Carers would like to thank Beverly and Caitlin from the Kitchen at Combe for their constant excellent service when we visit and specially today for their generosity and support."

Honiton Carers will be at Honiton Tesco all day Saturday 12 June bringing awareness to unpaid carers and their families.

"Please pay us a visit if can," Winnie continued.

"We meet every Wednesday at The Kitchen at Combe between 2 - 3.30pm. All unpaid carers and their loved ones are most welcome."
