Honiton resident Lucian David, 32, has started a new taxi business named, 'Hello Taxis.'

Lucian has lived in Honiton since 2018 and he noticed that there was a shortage of available taxis in the area.

He had been working as a taxi driver for other people in Axminster and Sidmouth. After noticing that there was a shortage of taxis in Honiton, he had the idea to start his own business.

"It gave me the push to start to build what Honiton deserves: a reliable, trustworthy and friendly taxi service who offer professional, smooth and safe transport."

Lucian is offering taxi services for local drives, but he is also available for longer trips, such as to London airports.

He told Nub News: "I'm young, with a lot of energy and I love what I'm doing.

"Now I understand what Mark Twain wanted to say when he wrote, "Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

"Looking forward to see you on board, dear Honitonians!"

At the moment Lucian is the only driver, but he aims to expand his company and get more drivers and cars.

Lucian's working hours are from early morning until midnight, 7 days a week. He is available 24 hours a day if the journey is pre-booked.

He can be contacted on his Facebook page, [email protected] or here
