Local planning authorities have neglected to make a decision following an application submitted by Churchill Retirement Living to redevelop the Honiton Cattle Market site on Silver Street.

An appeal has now been made to the Secretary of State against the failure of East Devon District Council to decide the application within the prescribed time period.

The appeal will be determined on the basis of an inquiry. All representations made on the application have been forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate and the appellant. These will be considered by the Inspector when determining the appeal.

Please note that any representations you submit to the Planning Inspectorate will be copied to the appellant and this local planning authority and will be considered by the Inspector when determining the appeal.
