Honiton Town Council seeks new Market Assistant

Honiton Town Council is currently looking for a new Market Assistant.

The position includes helping to safely set up and bring to a close the market three days a week and deputising for the Market Superintendent and covering when he is on leave.

A spokesperson for Honiton Town Council said: "This is a fantastic role and opportunity to be in the heart of Honiton's community.

"The job offers plenty of variety. You'll be working with a range of people from the public, market traders to town councillors and be part of a small, dedicated and friendly team."

The role

Salary: £10.44-£11.53/hour

Hours: 15 hours/week, part-time (negotiable)

Contract type: Temporary (but likely to become permanent)

Responsibilities: To help safely set up and end the Street Market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. To deputise for the Market Superintendent and to cover his holiday periods.
