The Community Spaces and Community Use Building (CUB) was successful in their application to East Devon's District Council grant scheme.

The organisation applied to the Small Community Grant scheme and they were awarded £500 towards their £1000 project.

One-off, non-repeatable grants are awarded up to the value of £500 to support community-led ideas and initiatives throughout East Devon.

The money that Honiton Community Spaces receives will be put towards improving the outside space at the community building.

There is a small patch of lawn outside the CUB building but it is neglected and not well used.

Raised beds will be created which will be at wheelchair height. Seating will also be installed, and some gardening hand tools will be purchased.

If you would like to apply for a Small Community Grant, you can do so here.
