Honiton's Three Tuns charity Craft Fair is looking for donations for raffle prizes
Local artists and craftspeople are holding a craft fair in the Three Tuns tomorrow , and last-minute raffle prizes are still needed.
The organisers are a group of friends from Honiton.
They enjoy arts and craft work and wanted to hold a fair to sell of their work, but they then realised they could do it for charity.
One of the organisers, Ruth Davenport, explains: "A few of us regulars in the pub are creative, either actual art or crafty bits. We were discussing a fair but we really wanted to support a local charity too."
Gifts, cards, homewares, cakes, crafts and decorations will be available for purchase.
All the money raised is being donated to Devon Air Ambulance.
Ruth explains why they chose the Devon Air Ambulance: "I am always aghast that such an essential service as air ambulances are not government funded like regular ambulances or the fire service etc.
That they have to rely 100% on public donations is really shocking so we felt we'd love to throw our support behind them with this event."
The landlady of the Three Tuns, Kat Bowden, offered the group free use of the pubs's back room, which means all the table fees will be donated to charity.
The Three Tuns has also donated prizes for the raffle. Ruth is grateful for the pub for supporting the charity event: "This was a lovely generous gesture that we greatly appreciate."
However, more raffle prizes are still needed.
If you could like to make a donation please take it to the pub before the event, or you can still donate on the day by taking it to the fair.
The Craft Fair is on Saturday, December 4 from 10am - 5pm
