Fiver Fest fortnight is currently underway in Honiton, with lots of independent businesses offering super deals as part of the Totally Locally event.

Up until the October 24, shoppers in Honiton can make the most of a wide range of five pound offers from indies, such as shops, cafés and restaurants.

Watch this Facebook Live with organisers Helen Newman, Liz Pole and Kate Dixon explaining about the new Totally Locally Honiton initiative and how to get involved.

The aim of Totally Locally Honiton is to create awareness of independent businesses operating in the area and to encourage people to use them more.

If every adult in Honiton spent just £5 a week in local indies, it would inject £2.3 million directly into the local economy - boosting the community and bettering people’s lives.

Included on the list in Honiton is; JK’s Bistro, Pavot, L’Reigns, Honiton Sports Shop, Roots to Health, Bruv’s Bar, Natural Beauty, Lacemakers Café, Chippee, Honiton Wine Bar, Run Venture and many more!

Honiton Nub News will be taking to the High Street on Saturday morning, bringing you another Facebook Live (with better sound hopefully) speaking to local businesses involved and promoting the independents in our town.
