Honiton charity TRIP is inviting people to join them in celebrating their recent grant, alongside an exciting new project launch.

The event will take place at their New Street premises on Thursday 19 September 6 – 7.30pm and light refreshments will be available.

Sharon Thorne, Deputy Manager of TRIP said: "We are often told of people who regularly use our TRIP Voluntary Car Service for transport to medical appointments etc., but who are not always aware of the full range of TRIP services on offer.

"Following the brilliant news about the recent Postcode Lottery Grant made to TRIP, we decided to include this with a project launch, which will allow people to look around our shop, meet the TRIP team and see for themselves all that TRIP offers to the community and how our services interlink i.e. connecting our community by reaching out to local and often isolated East Devon residents.

"Alongside the Lottery launch we will also launch the Community Media Space; a 24/7 rolling information screen, offering a no charge High Street presence to community groups and charities as a means of publicising and promoting their services."

"We'd love to meet you, so do come along and share in our delight at the grant and all the exciting changes taking place at TRIP."
