Air ambulance lands in Honiton to assist with medical emergency

Devon Air Ambulance was called to assist with an incident in Honiton at around 1.30pm this afternoon (Friday).
The helicopter landed in a field near Beggars Lane, just off Exeter Road, where crew were seen disembarking from the aircraft before running into the housing estate nearby.
A woman was transported to hospital by land ambulance.
A spokesperson for Devon Air Ambulance said: "I can confirm that we attended an adult female suffering from a medical emergency.
"Our crew went with the patient in the land ambulance to the RD&E Hospital."
