The collaborative efforts of a community movement within Honiton recently rallied together in support of the town's museum.

A generous sum of money was donated by Honiton Forward to Allhallows Museum, along with a much-needed morale boost at this challenging time.

A statement read: "The Trustees of Allhallows Museum would like to thank the members of Honiton Forward for their kind donation of £365.

"It will make a huge difference in supporting the museum through the most difficult year.

"Your generosity is much appreciated. Thank you."

Speaking on behalf on Honiton Forward, Duncan Sheridan-Shaw said: "I've said it over and over again - this is an amazing community that really pulls together when something is important to them.

"I am exceptionally proud that Honiton Forward was able to spur just a enough enthusiasm to be able to gain a massive swathe of public interest in our town museum."
