Bertie the four-foot teddy bear was donated to FORCE Cancer Charity back at the start of November, having travelled down to Devon from London by train.

Since then, he has enjoyed the hospitality of Honiton estate agents, Greenslade Taylor Hunt, who have been helping Bertie to find his 'forever home' - by selling raffle tickets in which Bertie was the main prize.

The winning ticket was drawn at Greenslade Taylor Hunt on Friday 13 December, by Maggie Wynn from Just Cards - who donated Bertie to the charity.

Newlywed, Kelly Bright, from Uplyme won the four-foot cuddly toy, who is certain to be well looked after at his new countryside abode.

The creative fundraising idea managed to raise £313.34 for FORCE Cancer Charity, an organisation dedicated to providing care and treatment for people going through a cancer diagnosis in the local area.
