Candidates standing in the upcoming General Election for Tiverton and Honiton

As the UK gears up for a General Election on December 12 - the first time it has fallen within the festive period in almost 100 years - we take a look at the candidates standing for the Tiverton and Honiton constituency.

Neil Parish is the current MP for this area. He has announced that he will be standing again for the Conservatives, in a bid to keep his seat.

The prospective parliamentary candidates for the other main political parties are as as follows:-

Labour Party: Elizabeth Pole

Liberal Democrats: John Timperly

Brexit Party: Ian Berkeley-Hurst

Green Party: Gill Westcott
