Tony said: "Many of us have waited for quite a while watching a sign on the building that read "Opening Soon" well the wait was worth it."

As Tony was shown around the premises it became obvious to him that the Deli would become known as much as a tourist attraction as it would a restaurant.

Already popular with regulars there is no doubt that the Yellow Deli will be a successful venture. Every part of the building from the salvaged dark wood highly polished floor to the artisan lampshades; from the cosy corner tables to the brightness of the first-floor glass roofed open dining room, create a unique, comfortable and yet interesting experience.

Johnathan and his team have made a great effort to embrace the history of Honiton with exquisite murals depicting lace making and pottery.

A particular historical testimony is made to the formation of a heavy horse association which grew from a chance conversation held in the bar of what was once the Red Cow public house, depicted in another remarkable mural.
