CORONAVIRUS: Honiton community kitchen asks for your support

The Random Kitchen is keeping vulnerable members of the community fed with nutritious, home-cooked meals.

Things are tough in the fight against the spread of a killer virus, but for some it's a case of going without even the most basic of human needs.

Cathy McCollum, along with a small group of volunteers, are making use of food that might otherwise go to waste. Donated produce is being cooked, served-up in portions and frozen, to be delivered to people in the community who are struggling at this difficult time.

Imagine having to self-isolate alone with no family or friends to help you shop? Or, imagine trying to feed a family when you suddenly find yourself out of work and with no income?

These are very real situations for some people and to have free, cooked meals to rely on is a lifeline.

You can help by supporting The Random Kitchen and donating a small amount of money to ensure we all get through this as best we can.
