A representative from Devon Country Council will be holding a surgery in Honiton this week to meet members of the public who wish to discuss the the state of Devon's roads.

It comes after Honiton MP Richard Foord wrote to the Chief Executive of Devon County Council, Donna Manson, to raise concerns about the poor state of roads across Devon, calling for swifter action to tackle the scourge of potholes on local roads.

In the first 20 days of 2023, Devon County Council recorded more potholes than in the whole of January 2022.

The Officer for the Eastern Neighbourhood Highways team at Devon County Council will be at The Beehive on Thursday 11 May to meet members of the public.

No appointment is necessary.

A statement from Honiton Town Council said: "If you would like to refer any queries to him concerning the local highways, please come along and meet him."

The session will take place between 12pm and 2pm on Thursday 11 May at The Beehive.
