Domestic Fire at Road from Deep Cut Cross to Dunkeswell Village Hall, Dunkeswell.

Date: 15.12.2018Time: 14:37Location: Road from Deep Cut Cross to Dunkeswell Village Hall, Dunkeswell.The Fire Service were called to reports of a fire at the above location involving a domestic property. One fire appliance from Honiton, one fire appliance from Wellington and one fire appliance from Cullompton were mobilised to this incident.

Once the crew got in attendance the officer in charge confirmed that there was smoke and flames issuing from the property and requested a further appliance to assist at the incident. Fire Control therefore mobilised a fire appliance from Ottery St Mary. 

Crews got to work immediately to extinguish the fire with the use of 6 breathing apparatus, 3 thermal imaging cameras, 3 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet, small tools and 1 triple extension ladder.

The crews are making steady progress and are now cutting away and dampening down hot spots within the property.
