East Devon: Police appeal after fatal collision

Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision killed a motorcyclist.

The incident took place on the A3052 in Sidford on Saturday 4 February.

Emergency services were called to Stevens Cross just at 7.10pm after they received reports of a single-vehicle collision.

The collision involved a motorcycle and the male driver was declared deceased at the scene.

The road was closed for approximately six hours to allow a forensic examination of the scene and for the vehicle to be recovered.

Police are continuing their enquires to locate the next of kin.
