Fatal Collision, A30 near Daisymount Cross

One man died

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A30.

The incident happened on Wednesday 28 November at 6.14pm on the A30 near Daisymount Cross, Ottery St Mary.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was confirmed deceased following a collision involving a car.

Investigating officers are keen to hear from any motorists who were travelling on the A30 between Daisymount Cross and Patteson's Cross between 5.55pm and 6.15pm.

Police are appealing for sightings and information of a man dressed in dark clothing with light colouring shoes in the area at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 770 on Wednesday 28 November.
