Fatal collision: Wolverstone Moor, Nr Awliscombe, Honiton, Devon

At 09:35 hours on Tuesday 24th July 2018 Police were notified of a two vehicle road traffic collision on a single track country road near Awliscombe, Honiton (OSGR 312604, 104748)

Weather and road conditions at the time of the collision were dry. For reasons yet to be determined, a tractor has collided with another tractor and trailer combination. One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene while the other was uninjured.

The road was closed for a number of hours while a forensic examination of the scene took place. Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101 quoting log number 0257 24/07/2018.
