The Department of Health and Social Care have announced that Adult Social Care Community Sector employees are to be issued with their own recognised CARE brand.
Home Instead CAREGivers can now proudly wear the newly branded CARE badge giving this important sector of adult social care the visibility and recognition it has long been deserving of as an essential workforce.
Managed by the Department of Health and Social Care, the CARE brand has been designed and developed to be used in the same way as the NHS identity, ensuring that parity will be kept between the two brands.
The CARE brand will be used by Local Authorities and CQC Registered social care providers.
The badges will instantly be recognisable having a very similar logo to the familiar NHS logo.
Vanessa McGlade, Director of Home Instead Senior Care, said: "We are delighted that at last, all those working in the frontline of social care within the community have been recognised for their essential work providing round the clock care.
"This is particularly so, with an ever-increasing population of people who are living longer and need regular care and support whilst living in their own homes."
Home Instead Senior Care, the only local home care provider to have achieved the CQC 5* rating, has continued to support clients throughout 2020.
It takes on new clients every week, recruiting and training CAREGivers across the Exeter and East Devon area to provide home help, companionship and personal care for the elderly living independently in their own homes.
