Honiton's Allhallows Museum has reopened after the winter break, but it needs more stewards to volunteer their services!

Allhallows Museum is run entirely by volunteers, but more are needed to help the museum operate.

Volunteer stewards are needed for shifts from Monday to Friday. The shifts available are from 9.30am – 1pm and from 1pm until 4.30pm.

The museum is especially keen to hear from people that can volunteer on a Thursday.

Volunteer stewards can volunteer weekly or fortnightly and full training will be provided.

Rosemary Connett is a steward at the Museum, and she also demonstrates how the famous Honiton lace is made. She told Nub News: "Have you a few hours a week or fortnight to spare?

"If so, we would love to see you at Allhallows Museum, where we need some more stewards.

"Stewards greet our visitors and make them feel welcome, and we man the desk and shop. Full training will be given and in the first instant you will work with an experienced steward."

More information on Allhallows Museum can be found here.

If you are interested in volunteering or finding out more information, you can come into the museum or send the museum an email on [email protected]

You can also call 01404 44966.
