Honiton: biker badly hurt in three-vehicle crash at Wilmington

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a road accident at Wilmington.
His bike was in collision with a car and a 44-tonne articulated lorry on the A35 at around 1.15pm today (Monday, September 13).
The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old man from Hampshire, suffered injuries described as 'life-changing' and was flown to Southampton General Hospital by Devon Air Ambulance.
The other motorists involved, a 73-year-old man from the Wilmington area and a 33-year-old man from Exeter, were uninjured.
The road was closed for a few hours as local police and officers from the Roads Policing Team examined the scene.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the accident, which involved a Honda motorbike, a silver Nissan and a DAF articulated lorry.
