Which? magazine is a consumer expert group and they have compiled a list of the UK's 50 best single-day walks.

The 6-mile walk from Branscombe to Beer was voted the 29th best walk.

The walk takes in part of the South West Coast Path, which is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

There are fantastic views of the sea from Beer Head, which make the steep climbs well worth it!

1,807 Which? panel members took part in the survey, which took place in December 2021.

The walk was given five stars for peace and quiet and five stars for its food and drink!

It scored three stars for difficulty, way-marking, facilities, range of wildlife and places of interest. The rolling hills, red cliffs and attractive villages at either end scored the walk four stars for scenery.

Overall, the walk was awarded a satisfaction score of 80 per cent, which is made up of overall satisfaction and how likely people are to recommend the walk.

Which? suggested that the walk could be improved by improving its accessibility for those in wheelchairs or with prams.
