Honiton Carers celebrated Christmas in style at the Blue Ball Inn on Wednesday 11 December.

46 carers and cared for enjoyed the fantastic hospitality of Darren Yates, his wife Carol and son Matt who looked after us impeccably.

Father Christmas visited and delivered a shoe box to each guest.

The shoeboxes were made, filled and donated by Open Arms for which we are extremely grateful.

Open Arms is managed by Garry Wakeham, who made a fabulous Father Christmas.

It made for a wonderful surprise for everyone and made the lunch so much more special for us all.

Honiton Carers would like to thank Open Arms for their generosity, Devon County Council for their Grant, Honiton Co-op for choosing us and our project as one of their three causes last year and Nancy Patch for her donation - all of which made it possible to fund the Christmas lunch.
