Honiton Carers managed to have a delightful Christmas celebration with a cuppa, chat, refreshments and raffles on Wednesday 22 December despite very short notice, having had their Christmas dinner cancelled only two days ago.

We are so grateful to all the carers and their loved ones who attended and were so willing to adapt at such short notice. We will have a party in the spring and now have something to look forward to.

The winners of Honiton Carers Christmas raffle are as follows:-

1st prize Christmas Hamper Peter Dent

2nd prize Set of various puzzles and sorter Jackie Crook

3rd prize Five-piece gift set Di Hawkings

4th prize Chocolate Fountain Autumn Palmer

5th prize Two bottles of wine Tracy Balsdon We hope you all enjoy your prizes and would like to thank everyone who purchased a raffle ticket for supporting our group. We sold the massive amount of 495 tickets and are absolutely thrilled to bits with the result. We would also like to thank all our wonderful volunteers who have worked so hard throughout the year and really helped to make today special despite the huge disappointment of not having their Christmas dinner. May we also take this opportunity to wish everyone in the community a very merry Christmas and a happy & healthy New Year. We thank you for your ongoing support for our group.
