Honiton Carers enjoy Christmas celebration

Honiton Carers managed to have a delightful Christmas celebration with a cuppa, chat, refreshments and raffles on Wednesday 22 December despite very short notice, having had their Christmas dinner cancelled only two days ago.

We are so grateful to all the carers and their loved ones who attended and were so willing to adapt at such short notice. We will have a party in the spring and now have something to look forward to.

We sold the massive amount of 495 tickets and are absolutely thrilled to bits with the result. We would also like to thank all our wonderful volunteers who have worked so hard throughout the year and really helped to make today special despite the huge disappointment of not having their Christmas dinner. May we also take this opportunity to wish everyone in the community a very merry Christmas and a happy & healthy New Year. We thank you for your ongoing support for our group.
