The Honiton Carers enjoyed their recent Summer Party (Winnie Cameron)

Honiton Carers enjoyed a great Summer Party on Wednesday 12 July at The Methodist Church. Janice Hobday (Jay) entertained us with some fabulous Vintage Music which was much enjoyed by all and had us singing along, waving our arms and even dancing. Jay had come highly recommended and she certainly did not disappoint. She was presented with one of the fabulous table flower decorations beautifully made by Stella Ford.

We celebrated four birthdays so a lot of Happy Birthdays was sung and a lot of birthday cake eaten as well a delicious cream/savoury tea with Mary Bolshaw's scones freshly out of the oven. Just the best.

The birthday ladies were Christine Broom, Ruth Robinson, Pat Dunlop and Winnie Cameron who were all presented with their own individual birthday cake with a candle or more in some cases!!

We ended the afternoon with the usual well stocked raffle.

If you are an unpaid carer and would like to join our group please get in touch with Win on 07974 636926 or email [email protected]"
