Honiton Carers enjoys their first Arts and Craft Session at Creative Beings

Wednesday 25 January saw the first of Honiton Carers 2023 Art & Craft sessions at Creative Beings, Awliscombe.

The Art & Craft sessions will carry on monthly throughout the year.

Today we did Silk Printing/Marbling with Alex and the results were fabulous. It was extremely therapeutic and all absorbing to do. Everyone loved it. Some carers drew free style others traced a chosen picture on to the silk, then applied a "sealing" liquid on the lines, before painting in whatever colours we chose. 

Art & Craft session enable the carers to switch off from their caring role and have a few hours respite in safe surroundings with like-minded people.
