Honiton Carers had successful awareness day at Co-op

This week Honiton Carers enjoyed a successful awareness day at Honiton Co-op where they raised the profile of the group's important work.
Honiton Carers were in store to encourage customers to sign up for Co-op membership and to choose the community group as their cause for the year. The groups which will be supported this year are Honiton Carers, Foodsave and Honiton Football Club.
Honiton Carers also brought along some decorated art and crafts goods which were available for purchase. A hamper was won in a raffle by local Paula and the raffle raised more than £345.
Winnie Cameron is the organiser of Honiton Carers. She told Nub News: "All in all we had a fabulous day and are hoping to be back before Christmas for a further day of awareness.
"We're so grateful for the people who have helped support Honiton Carers this year."
