Honiton Carers Support Group met outdoors yesterday for the first time since lockdown.

26 carers attended The Kitchen at Combe Garden Centre for a coffee and a chat.

Chair of Honiton Carers, Winnie Cameron said: "What a wonderful time we all had sitting at tables of four in a Covid-safe fashion.

"It was absolutely wonderful to see everybody again. We can't wait for 21 June to come when we can mix freely and be together properly.

"However yesterday provided a welcome start to getting back to normal."

Honiton Carers will be meeting for a coffee and a chat every Wednesday until July provided the Roadmap is on schedule.

From 14 July they are back in The Methodist Church on the second Wednesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm.
