Honiton Carers very much enjoyed another "Connecting You" "Walk & Chat" day out today Saturday 1st April.

This time we went to Salisbury Cathedral by train.

We walked from Salisbury Station to the Cathedral where we were welcomed by Head Guide Angela Ford who gave us a 20 minute introductory talk, which was followed by a good look around the Cathedral enjoying the amazing workmanship.

We also visited the historic Magna Carta which is one of the only 4 original copies made. We could easily have stayed there all day however, we also wanted to fit in a walk through the Water Meadows, a bit of lunch and a visit to the highly recommended Fisherton Mill all very much enjoyed including their wonderful home-made cakes.

If you are an unpaid carer and would like to know more about our support group please get in touch with Win on [email protected] or phone 07974 636926. Honiton Carers will be at The Kitchen at Combe Garden Centre on Wednesday 5th April from 3.00 - 4.30pm. No need to book just come along and feel welcome to bring your loved ones too. Transport can be provided if required.
