Two people were injured on Sunday 3 April in a road traffic accident on Honiton High Street.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:45pm and police were called to the scene following reports of a collision.

It was stated that a car had collided with several parked cars, and had ended up on its roof.

The Police, Ambulance and Fire services all attended the scene.

Two men were taken to hospital and their families informed. One man, aged 32, sustained potentially life-changing injuries and another, aged 22, sustained serious injuries.

The High Street was closed to recover the vehicle and to conduct a forensic examination of the scene.

Officers from Roads Policing Team would like to hear from anyone who has CCTV of the incident and they are appealing for any other witnesses to come forward, quoting Log 964 of April 3 2022.
