More than 20 youngsters from a new local dance school have passed their first exams.

23 members of JW Dance from Ottery St Mary recently passed their ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) exams in modern and tap dancing, which they took in March this year.

Founder of JW Dance Jo Wilson said: "The students worked so hard, and I am so proud of their achievements for their first ever ISTD exam.

"I am already planning the next session!"

The dance school started at Honiton Gym Club in September 2020, and began offering classes in Ottery St Mary in April 2021. Last year, it was chosen as a finalist in the international Dance School of the Year competition.
