Honiton firefighters were called out to a vehicle fire on Horn Road, Kentisbeare after fire control received multiple calls just before 4pm yesterday (Wednesday 22 December).

Fire engines from Cullompton, Middlemoor, and Taunton, together with a hazardous materials unit from Taunton and a police officer went to the scene initially.

They saw that the vehicle was on fire, and so was the workshop it was inside. The workshop also contained farm vehicles and cylinders.

Two more fire engines from Honiton and Middlemoor were then called out and later a water carrier from Danes Castle.

The incident has since been marked as 'closed' and was last updated at 11.26pm last night.
