There are less than two weeks to go until the Honiton Gate to Plate festival takes place, after a very successful event last year.

It was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The food festival is happening on August 20 between 10am and 4pm.

Eat:Festivals is hosting the event and they are responsible for a number of food festivals which take place across the South West, including in Honiton, Lyme Regis and Tiverton.

Honiton Gate to Plate will bring local food and drink producers and artisans to Honiton High Street. There will be a range of food on offer, including vegetarian and vegan options.

Last year more than 50 stalls were in place tempting visitors with the offerings, and there were also street entertainers.

There will be road closures in place. Between 7am and 7pm cars will be unable to access Honiton High Street between the A35 roundabout and New Street.
