Devon and Cornwall have released the latest crime figures for Honiton

The police have released the latest crime figures for Honiton.

There were 51 crimes reported in Honiton in March 2022, a slight increase from 47 in February.

The latest figures show there were eight drug offences, compared to only one in February.

There were nine cases of anti-social behaviour and eight cases of criminal damage and arson.

Honiton experienced 18 violent and sexual offences, which is an increase from 14 in February.

In addition, there were two public order offences and two vehicle crimes.

There was also one other theft, one possession of a weapon and one shoplifting offence.

There was one crime that didn't fit into the above categories.

67 per cent of these crimes remain under active investigation.
