Honiton Job of the Week: Funeral Operative at E. A. Dodd & Son Funeral Directors

E. A. Dodd & Son Funeral Directors are recruiting a new Funeral Operative for their family business. 

Essential information

Salary: £10 per hour 

Contract type: Temporary and zero hours 

Hours: Weekend availability

About the role

Responsibilities will include bearing, driving and participation in an on-call rota one night per week, as well as at least every third weekend. 

As this is a zero-hour contract, the role would best suit someone who can take a flexible approach to their working schedules. 

The successful applicant must be of smart appearance and live within close proximity to the funeral homes, which are in Honiton, Seaton, Axminster and Ottery St. Mary due to the on-call commitments. If they don't live in this area, they must be prepared to move there before taking up the role.

All applicants must also have a full clean driving licence. 

The rates of pay for the callouts will be discussed at interview.
