Honiton: Key dates and times for Remembrance this year

With Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday due to take place next month, here are some key dates and times for Honiton.

The Poppy Appeal will run from 28 October to 14 November.

Remembrance Day will take place on 11 November. There will be a two-minute silence across the nation at 11am. In Honiton, the Royal British Legion will hold an Act of Homage at the war memorial with a parade starting at 10.50am.

Remembrance Sunday will take place on 14 November. In Honiton, the parade will form up in New Street next to the Star Inn from 2.15pm, and will then march to St Paul's Church at 2.35pm. A short service will then be held at the war memorial at 3pm.
