Honiton Manor hosts Summer Fete to tie in with Charter Day
With summer vibes in full-swing, calendars are filling up with all the social occasions we have been missing while in lockdown. Albeit slightly hindered, things are hotting up out there in Honiton and we are here to tell you What's On.
One key date for your diaries is the Honiton Manor Summer Fete on Saturday 31 July from 11am - 2pm.
Organiser Siân Samways told us: "The event coincides with Honiton Charter Day, and we really hope that as the community will be enjoying our lovely town that day, they will stop by and pay us a visit."
People can expect a BBQ, stalls, games and a raffle – all of which is to raise funds for an interactive table for residents at Honiton Manor.
"This will hugely benefit their time with us, creating mental stimulation and enhancing morale," Siân continued.
"On the back of this, we are still on the lookout for any local business that would be happy to donate a prize of some description to our raffle – any help would be hugely appreciated.
"Thank you so much to Planet Sal, Lacemakers Cafe and Dilly's Florists for already donating some wonderful prizes."
Honiton Manor are also on the look out for anyone who may be happy to come and sing, dance or entertain on the day. Or, someone who can face paint, or has a bouncy castle would be a real bonus.
"Absolutely any ideas are appreciated," Siân added.
