The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Devon and parts of Somerset and Cornwall.

It will be in force from 3pm today (Thursday 28 October) until 9am tomorrow.

According to the Met Office, heavy rain could bring 'localised flooding and some disruption to travel.'

The organisation is advising the public that a few homes and businesses could be flooded, bus and train services affected, and flooding on roads could increase journey times.

Sunny intervals are forecast from 9am tomorrow, with highs of 14 degrees and lows of 10.

Wind speeds will be moderate with gusts of up to 24mph.
