Honiton man, Malcolm Lee, who plays the cornet for Ottery St Mary Silver Band, is encouraging musicians to play the 'Thank You Very Much' tune on Thursday at 8pm.

It is to accompany people clapping and cheering to show gratitude and support for those in the health and care profession, who are risking their lives to protect us during the coronavirus outbreak.

Malcolm told Nub News: "It's another way we can demonstrate how much the people working for the NHS mean to us.

"I'm trying to contact as many musicians as possible to join in.

"For the singers the words are easy.

"Thank you very much for the NHS, thank you very much, thank you very very much."

If you are a musician in the Honiton area, why not record yourself playing this on Thursday, send us the video and we will share it on our Facebook page.
