Honiton: New group joins The Beehive

A local group is relocating from the Honiton Football Club to The Beehive because so many people have joined the class.

Julie Pearce, who lives in Payhembury, has only been running Slimming World groups in Honiton since May 2023 but they have proved incredibly popular.

The mum-of-two currently holds group sessions twice a week at The Honiton Football Club but the groups have grown in popularity so much that she will now hold them sessions at The Beehive. 

Julie said: "At the beginning of this year I decided I'd love to help others achieve what I have, as it's been life changing. 

"I decided to train as a consultant at Slimming World head office and I opened my first groups in May.

"I love running the groups: it is so rewarding and it fills my heart with joy. We have so much support and fun in the group - it's like a little family. 

"Due to expanding my group, I am now moving to The Beehive where I look forward to helping lots more people achieve their weight loss dreams and live healthier and happier lives.

"I run two groups. The morning group is very busy and lively and the evening group is a little quieter and more relaxed, meaning there is a group to cater for whichever suits people better."
