Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating reports of criminal damage to several vehicles in Honiton.

The incident took place on August 16 at around 9.30pm in the Lace Walk car park.

A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police said: "It was reported that a group of males were seen trying door handles and smashing windows. At this time it's believed three cars were damaged.

"The group had left the area prior to police arrival.

"A hammer was located and seized from the scene.

"Enquiries remain ongoing."
