Pupils from Honiton Primary School have been celebrating their success after taking part in nationwide Maths and English challenges.

35 pupils received awards after participating in the DoodleLearning Spring Challenge, a popular digital learning event which involved 16,000 children from across the UK.

DoodleLearning is an interactive digital learning platform which is used by schools and can be purchased for home use.

Pupils from more than 600 primary schools took part in the challenge and received personalised learning goals.

All the children who completed their coals were presented with certificates which were presented by their teachers.

Kimberley Sansom is a Year 6 teacher at Honiton Primary School. She said: "Our children really enjoy using DoodleLearning.

"It's helped them to become much more confident and resilient with Maths. The Spring Learning Challenge was popular across our year groups with more and more children taking the opportunity to earn certificates and badges.

"The little and often approach really does work - even in the school holidays!"
