The Met office have issued another Yellow Weather Warning for wind for the majority of the UK and it will remain in force until 1pm today (Monday). It comes after Storm Eunice caused widespread disruption and damage on Friday.
The organisation warns of very strong winds on Monday, which might cause disruption.
There is the possibility of damage to buildings, for example tiles being blown down, along with trees/branches being brought down which could block roads and damage cars.
There may be longer journeys on road, rail, air and ferry services and cancellations are possible, and some roads and bridges may be forced to close.
Power could be lost to some areas and homes and large waves and strong wind could lead to beach material and waves being thrown onto sea fronts, potentially injuring people.
On Friday, Storm Eunice caused disruption across Devon. In Sidmouth, large waves crashed onto the seafront , roads were closed in Honiton due to damage to homes and all trains were cancelled due to winds of 90mph.
