Temporary traffic lights have been set up on the A35, and they are causing delays.

The two-way lights are in place just after the recycling centre, as you approach Wilmington.

There is little warning of their existence as you come down the hill towards the village, so drivers are urged to exercise caution.

A separate set of temporary traffic lights has been in place on the A35 since October. They are expected to remain until February as emergency landslide work is carried out.

Last week a fatal accident occurred in Wilmington in which a five year old child died.
