Honiton: thunderstorm warning tomorrow for this area

We may be basking in a September heatwave, but it's not going to last - the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in the South West tomorrow (Wednesday, September 8).

Between 11am and 9pm there's a strong chance of heavy rain, thunder and lightning - bringing a possibility of flooding in some areas.

Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures - and where flooding or lightning strikes happen, there is a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services.

There's also a slight chance of power cuts, leading to the loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
